I had an overall decent experience at Hyatt Centric Downtown Minneapolis. The location was super convenient, allowing easy access to local attractions. However, I felt the dining options could use more variety and a little bit of quality improvement. Additionally, the service from the staff was hit or miss, which impacted my overall enjoyment but left room for some bright spots too.

Rooms
7.0
My room was spacious and pretty nice, though I thought it could have had better furnishings to match its size. The bed was comfy, and the bathroom had a great setup, which I appreciated.
Service
6.0
Some staff members were friendly and attentive, but I had a couple of moments where the service felt lackluster. I would have liked more proactive communication regarding my concerns.
Location
9.0
The hotel is in a prime downtown location, making it easy to walk around to see theaters and restaurants. I loved it for ease of getting around.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience was not as great as I hoped. The breakfast options felt limited, and the quality didn’t quite hit the mark for me, especially for the prices.
Facilities
7.0
Facilities were adequate and generally well-kept, but I noticed some aspects could benefit from an upgrade. The valet parking was efficient, but not having parking on-site was a bit of a hassle.

My experience at Hyatt Centric Downtown Minneapolis was a mix of highs and lows. The beautiful, spacious rooms had great furnishings, and the friendly staff were always eager to help. However, I encountered issues with the amenities, including a gym that was under renovation, and the check-in process was less than smooth. Overall, while there were enjoyable aspects, some frustrations left me feeling dissatisfied.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms were stylish and spacious, with lovely furnishings and an inviting ambiance. However, I encountered issues like rust and poor room configurations that detracted from the experience.
Service

Service at the front desk was inconsistent. While staff were friendly, I faced challenges with management that clouded my overall experience.
Location
7.0
The location is fantastic for accessing downtown attractions, but I found the hotel itself undergoing construction, which made navigating a bit difficult.
Dining
5.0
Dining options and room service were decent but lacked variety and transparency in pricing, which added to my frustrations during the stay.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities were disappointing due to the renovation of the gym and pool, which had limited hours. This information wasn't disclosed at check-in, leading to my disappointment.

I had a decent stay overall, but there were definitely some bumps along the way. The cleanliness of the hotel stood out, and the staff were friendly and helpful. However, I was disappointed with the communication issues, especially regarding my in-room massage request that turned out to be a false advertisement. I also experienced confusion with parking and transportation that added unnecessary stress to my visit.

Rooms
8.0
The room I stayed in was spacious and well-appointed, complete with a large bathroom featuring a separate tub and shower. I appreciated the comfort of the bed, which contributed to my restfulness during the stay.
Service
5.0
While the staff were friendly and eager to assist, I found the communication lacking, especially with the transportation issues and the mix-up concerning my massage appointment. This impacted my overall experience.
Location
6.0
The hotel has a convenient downtown location, making it easy to access various attractions and public transport. However, the surrounding area felt a bit uncomfortable due to the number of homeless individuals, particularly in the evening.
Dining
5.0
I did find the room service food to be quite enjoyable, though I would have loved to see better breakfast options and presentation. The breakfast I had was just okay and felt a bit rushed.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities were generally well-maintained, but I had trouble with the parking process, which could have been clearer. I did appreciate the free transportation to the spa, despite the confusion.

The spacious room was beautifully decorated and incredibly comfortable, though there were minor issues with the front desk that could use improvement. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would recommend staying here for anyone visiting downtown Minneapolis.

While most staff were friendly and helpful, I did have an awkward check-in experience where the front desk initially couldn't find my connecting rooms. However, Jordan and the other reception staff were really attentive and accommodating throughout my stay.

The downtown location was excellent! It was easily accessible to various attractions and connected directly to the Skyway, which made walking around the city a breeze. Plus, I appreciated being close to many great dining options.

I had some meals at the hotel restaurant, and the food was quite good. I particularly enjoyed my dinner there, although I heard from others that breakfast could use improvement. The bar also had a lively atmosphere, which was enjoyable after a busy day.

I recently stayed at the Hyatt Centric Downtown Minneapolis, and overall, it was a great experience, but there were some drawbacks. The staff was exceptionally friendly and eager to assist, particularly Leo at the front desk, who made our stay nice. However, I encountered issues with late checkout as a Globalist member, and my suite had insufficient lighting which made it a bit dark. The location was fantastic, but parking was cumbersome.

Rooms
8.0
My corner suite was spacious with two walls of windows and a luxurious bathroom featuring a separate tub and shower, providing a comfortable stay. However, the room was quite dark due to minimal lighting.
Service
8.0
The staff created a welcoming environment, especially Leo who provided exemplary service by offering an upgrade and surprising us with a bottle of wine and strawberries. My concerns regarding late checkout were eventually addressed, but it took some effort.
Location
9.0
The hotel's downtown location offered excellent access to various attractions, dining options, and the Skyway, making it perfect for exploring Minneapolis.
Dining
6.0
While the bar had a great atmosphere, I found the food options to be bland and the drinks, like my Old Fashioned, to be on the weaker side. On the upside, the bar staff was friendly, making for a pleasant evening.
Facilities
7.0
The fitness center was impressive, with numerous exercise options available. Unfortunately, I had minor challenges with housekeeping during my stay, as my request for cleaning was overlooked once.
